Starting in 2026, the annual maximum out-of-pocket drug cost for Medicare patients is capped at $2,100.
The Medicare Part D patient may opt in to the payment plan to manage their out-of-pocket drug costs through monthly payments.

The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan is completely free to enroll.
We encourage our patient to enroll early in the 2026 payment plan to maximize the number of months available for spreading out prescription costs.

Example 1: $2,100 ÷ 12 months = $175/month

Example 2 :$2,100 ÷ 8 months = $262.50/month

Please note: Cost per month will depend on patient’s specific medication cost and when medications are filled.

The patient can enroll in the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan by
contacting their health or drug plan provider.

The plan will automatically renew their participation in this payment option every year, unless they change plans or opt out.
